3 Key Players Injured, As Lampard Confirms Chelsea’s Injury List Ahead Of Fa Cup Game (Details).

Not too good news for Chelsea fans, as head coach Frank Lampard, confirmed during a pre-match press conference on Friday, that the blues are currently without 3 first-team players due to injury.
Before now, the only player who was confirmed to be sidelined due to injury was right-back Reece James who suffered a minor hamstring.
Such saw James miss out on the home clash against Manchester City over, which the blues eventually lost by 1-3.
However, ahead of their fa cup home clash against Morecambe, Lampard confirmed that the blues will be without three first team players.
He revealed that both defender Andreas Christensen and Ngolo Kante will be ruled out alongside Reece James, due to a slight knock and a hamstring respectively.
He also went on to reveal that both James and Christensen should be available in no time for the blues. Lampard had this to say,
“Reece James is out for the game, although he will be training with us tomorrow,” he revealed.
“The same as Andreas Christensen and N’Golo Kante”.
“[Kante has] a minor hamstring injury which means he [is going to] miss this game and is suspended for the Fulham game anyway”.
On the nature of Christensen’s injury, Lampard revealed that it isn’t too serious, as he picked it up during the home game to Aston Villa at the bridge.
“The injury was absolutely from that moment in the Villa game, and it was probably typical modern-day reactions where Christian takes the stick,” the coach said.
“The injury isn’t too bad which is good news for him. He should be back training with us tomorrow”.
Will the three players be missed come Sunday? Please do well to like and follow for more Chelsea updates thanks.
