AC Milan Are Reportedly Working To Complete The Signing Of Chelsea Defender

Some key players who played a bigger role in Frank Lampard’s first season at Chelsea were not able to get much playing time in his second season. The lack of playing made some of these players leave the club on loan.

Fikayo Tomori is one of those players who got frustrated by lack of playing time hence, he made a move to AC Milan in January. The England international made a total of 17 Serie A appearances for the club, and he was impressive.

The Italian club have been impressed by Tomori’s performance, and will like to keep him. According to Fabrizio Romano, AC Milan are working to complete the signing of Fikayo Tomori on a permanent deal from Chelsea for the €28.5m buy option. The Italian club remain ‘confident’ of getting the deal done.

One of his best performances for Milan was in the Europa League match against Manchester United where he made a vital tackle on Greenwood in the penalty box. A great lad but I don’t think he has what Tuchel wants.
