After Chelsea Won 2-0 And Bayern Munich Lost 3-2, See The Team They Will Face Next In Their League

In today’s UEFA Champions League quarter final fixtures, Bayern Munich hosted Paris Saint German while FC Porto hosted Chelsea at Seville. It was obviously a big fixture for both sides as they were seeking a first leg victory;

 

Paris Saint German started quite well in the opening minutes of the first half as Kylian Mbappe scored a brilliant goal from Neymar Jr assist. Kylian Mbappe scored his seventh Champions League goal of the season against Bayern Munich. It was the perfect start to the match for Paris Saint German.

Paris Saint German kept pushing for more goals in the first half of the match, Marquinhos extended their lead to 2-0 in the first half of the match. Bayern Munich were impressive in the opening minutes of the first half but lots of shot but unfortunately non of those shots got into the net. Neymar provided the assist for Marquinhos as Paris Saint German got their second goal.

Bayern Munich responded quite well with Maxim Choupo-Moting scoring for the hosts from Benjamin Pavard assist. Paris Saint German led Bayern Munich 2-1 into the second half of the match. Down into the second half of the match, Bayern Munich got the equalizer after Thomas Mueller scored from Joshua Kimmich assist. Paris Saint German got the lead back after Kylian Mbappe scored his second goal in the match from Angel Di Maria assist, Kylian Mbappe has now scored seven goals in the competition.

After today’s Champions League match with Paris Saint German, Bayern Munich will go against Union Berlin in their next German Bundesliga fixture which will be coming up on Saturday. Union Berlin is currently seated at seventh place in the German Bundesliga table they have never been an easy team to overcome and would be a tough one for Bayern Munich as they will be out without Robert Lewandowski.

Chelsea played well against FC Porto in today’s match, FC Porto were looking more threatening in the opening minutes of the first half they had more chances of scoring in the opening minutes of the first half. Chelsea had all the ball possessions but failed to create that big chance in the opening minutes. Mason Mount scored the opening goal for Chelsea from Jorginho assist, that was Chelsea’s first shot of the game.

Down into the second half of the match, Chelsea held on to their narrow 1-0 lead. They were looking more threatening in their attacks, Chelsea got a 2-0 lead after Ben Chilwel scored for the visitors in the second half of the match. Chelsea now have two away goals against FC Porto in the UEFA Champions League.

Chelsea will visit selhusk park as they will face Crystal Palace in their next English premier league fixture on Saturday. Looking at their current situation in the league Chelsea will be looking to get back on track in the race for the top four spot as they will go against Crystal Palace on Saturday. Last time Chelsea played against Crystal Palace Under Frank Lampard, the blues trashed Crystal Palace 4-0 at Stamford Bridge.
