Ousmane Dembele’s future “remains open” according to the player’s agent Moussa Sissoko – with Chelsea still reportedly keen on a deal

The France forward, 24, has failed to agree a new contract at the Nou Camp, with his current deal set to expire this summer, and that has led to alot of speculation that he could come to the Premier League

Chelsea were very much interested in getting some kind of transfer deal done, especially after the Spanish club told him he could leave in the January transfer window after failing to agree that new contract.

The Blues have finally got a new owner that is on his way to the Club and it is still expected that players will be signed during the summer transfer window and a contract will be handed to Dembele

There are a number of other clubs linked – and he could even stay at Barcelona – but as Dembele’s contract enters its last few weeks, his representative has suggested that the matter remains up in the air.

“Ousmane’s future remains open and we are not going to enter into endless speculation,” he told GOAL.

“When the time is right, Ousmane will take the best option. We are and have always been very respectful of all the clubs and we will continue in the same way as long as the process continues.

When the time is right to make a decision, Ousmane will consider what is the best option for his future.”

If he is leaving Barca in the coming months – maybe we would be shocked to see him sign with Chelsea

The Blues will have a massive budget to play with and are keen to improve other areas of the pitch before adding another winger to the side – so it is much more likely that he heads to PSG
