Barcelona could announce the signing of 27-year-old star defender in January

Barcelona will be improving their defence once the winter transfer window reopens , as they are in need of a replacement for Nelson Semedo that left for Wolverhampton wanderers and Gerrard Pique who is currently on the sideline.

Barcelona could announce the signing of 27 years old Chelsea star defender in January, as Frank Lampard is reportedly ready to cash in on the 27 years old centre-back.

The 27 years old has fallen down the pecking order in the Blues squad, and could be planning his exit in the winter, with Barcelona having shown interest in the 27 years old Germany international.
