Ben Chilwell, Pulisic and Thiago Silva: Latest Chelsea injury News and Return Dates ahead of Newcastle

The countdown is now on to the return of English Premier League football following the weekend’s international matches.
The Blues, like many other teams, have a plethora of players out on international assignment so will be hoping all return without injuries.
However, there are a nos of other players who have remained at Cobham for training, or to rest up as Chelsea Boss Frank Lampard gets to work on his preparations for the Magpies this weekend.
Chelsea travel to the north east for the Saturday lunchtime match at St James’ Park.
Prior to that, here is a round-up of the latest the Blues injury news ahead of the match
Ben Chilwell
The England international went off injured while playing for the Three Lions against Belgium in Leuven on Sunday evening.
Ben Chilwell had to subbed off in the 38th minute of the Nations League match with what appeared to be a back injury.
The Blues will be hoping it was merely a precaution as they look to have him back available as quick as possible.
The Englishman has been one of the buys of the campaign and nailed down the left-hand side position at Stamford Bridge.
Chilwell will undergo various tests on Monday before an assessment is made on when the Englishman could be back in action.
Thiago Silva
Brazil International Thiago Silva has impressed since moving to Chelsea.
The veteran centre-defender has admitted that he has been suffering a “terrible headache” in his last 2 Chelsea matches.
“After my last 2 matches, I have had a terrible headache because there are non-stop aerial duels and a very high pace of play,” the Brazil International told reporters in his press conference for the Brazil national side (via the Independent).
Thiago Silva should be fit to play for the Blues against the Magpies however.
Christian Pulisic
USA Manager Gregg Berhalter confirmed that Christian Pulisic had returned to the Blues to continue his recovery from a hamstring Injury problem.
The USA International picked up a slight hamstring issue during the warm-up at Burnley at the end of last month and has not featured for Chelsea since.
Christian Pulisic had linked up with the USA national team for upcoming friendly internationals against Wales and Panama, and was part of the national team camp, but USA Manager Berhalter confirmed that the attacker has returned to Chelsea for further treatment/assessment.
