Chelsea Football Club will be hoping to qualify for the quarter finals of the champions league when they take on Athletico Madrid in the second leg of the round-of-16 encounter.

But the blues will be without four of their key players for this crucial match tomorrow due to Injuries and suspensions, leaving Coach Thomas Tuchel with less options as the team prepare for this game.

This is a big blow for Chelsea as Tammy Abraham and Thiago Silva are expected to miss out on tomorrow’s clash after they both picked up recent injuries and the Injury also kept them out of Chelsea’s last match against Leeds United in the premier league.

Jorginho and Mason Mount have both been ruled out of tomorrow’s game as they are suspended following the bookings they picked up in the first-leg of this champions league fixture.

Based on the amended Champions league rules, when you are booked twice before the completion of the round-of-16 stage of the competition, you will not be eligible to feature in your team’s next match in the tournalment.

This is the reason Mason Mount and Jorginho will not be eligible to play for Chelsea Football Club tomorrow, do you think this rule should stand or it should be scraped off? Share your thoughts
