Since Bruno Fernandes’ arrival at Manchester United, he has had very very much impact. Since he arrived from Sporting Lisbon in January, he has been involved in 34 stunning goals in 35 goals in all competitions.

Fernandes has shown that he cannot only perform excellently in domestic games but also in European competitions scoring 3 goals and 1 assist in United’s first four Champions League matches.

His latest contribution was the one in Manchester United’s 4-1 win over Istanbul Baksaksehir when he put in a stunning performance earlier this week.

He could have had a first half hatrick after United won a penalty (their obligatory penalty), but he surprisingly gave the spot kick to Marcus Rashford. He then had to settle for a brace after being subbed off later in the match.

During Fernandes’ stunning performance, he scored a rocket goal after a teasing opportunity from an Alex Telles corner.

This thunderbolt goal has been dubbed as the best goal of this Champions League week and so the midfielder adds this to his list of individual awards.
