UEFA has announced the referee that would officiate Chelsea’s match against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday. The Blues would host the Spanish giants at the Stamford bridge in the second leg after playing out a 1-1 draw in the first leg.

It has been announced that referee Daniele Orsato would officiate the match between Chelsea and Real Madrid. However, many Chelsea fans may have a good liking to him after he officiated Chelsea’s second-leg match against Atletico Madrid.
In that match, he awarded 4 yellow cards to Atletico Madrid players and also gave a red card to Atletico Madrid defender Stefan Savic. Chelsea won the match 2-0 eventually and the match became easier after the referee helped them by awarding a red card to Savic and after which Emerson rounded up the scoreline. It remains to be seen how the referee would perform in Wednesday’s match against Real Madrid.
