Chelsea are yet to beat a team in the top half of the Premier League table this season (See proof)

English Premier League giants Chelsea were defeated 2-1 by Wolverhampton Wanderers in the English Premier League on Tuesday night. Olivier Giroud gave Chelsea the lead in the 49th minute of the game. Podence put the game back on levelled terms as his effort in the 66th minute went past Eduardo Mendy.

Following a swift counter attack from Wolverhampton Wanderers, Neto smashed his effort past Eduardo Mendy and into the back of the net in the 95th minute to give Wolves all three points at the Molineux stadium. Chelsea loss against Wolverhampton Wanderers means the blues have now tasted back to back defeats in the Premier League this season.

Chelsea have played 13 matches in the Premier League this season, winning 6, drawing 4 and losing 3. Unfortunately for Chelsea, they have failed to win any team in the top half of the English Premier League this season as all their 6 wins have come against oppositions in bottom half of the Premier League standings (see proof below).

Chelsea made some impressive signings this summer in a bid to challenge for the English Premier League title but results like this won’t help the Blues in their quest for another Premier League title.

Chelsea next game in the English Premier League is a London derby against West Ham on Monday at Stamford Bridge.
