Chelsea Dealt A Transfer Blow As Club Will Refuse To Sell Midfielder In January

Chelsea have been dealt a transfer blow in their search for a defensive midfielder next month.
The Blues have only Jorginho and N’Golo Kante as defensive midfielders which is still not enough for Frank Lampard.
However, the Premier League giants are said to be preparing a move for West Ham midfielder Declan Rice in January, having failed to sign the 21-year old last summer.
But according to The Telegraph, Chelsea has been dealt a huge blow as West Ham United are reluctant not to sell their important midfielder Declan Rice in the January transfer window.
Rice has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge since last summer, and it has been claimed that Frank Lampard is ready to make a move for the Englishman next month.
However, latest reports are claiming the Hammers are adamant they will not allow the former Chelsea academy star to leave midway through the campaign.
It could be yet another transfer window of Frank Lampard not getting his top target, and Chelsea may have to wait until the end of the current season in other to secure his signature.
