Chelsea news and gossip is coming in thick and fast and Sportarena is on hand to bring you all the very latest from Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea keen to re-sign Romelu Lukaku
Chelsea are reportedly considering a stunning move to bring Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge this summer.
The Blues are keen to bolster their attacking options and owner Roman Abramovich has prioritised the signing of a new centre-forward, despite spending around £53million on Timo Werner last summer.
According to the Daily Mail, Dortmund striker Erling Haaland, who scored 33 goals across all competitions this season remains Blues’ number one target this summer.
But should they admit defeat in their bid to land the Norwegian, then Chelsea could turn their attention to Lukaku, who joined Stamford Bridge outfit as an 18-year-old in 2011.
Lukaku was unable to cement his place as a first-team regular, which saw him loan out to Premier League due West Bromwich Albion and Everton, with former Blues boss Jose Mourinho eventually selling the striker to the Toffees in 2014.
The Belgian forward established himself as one of the Premier League’s best striker on Merseyside before joining Manchester United in a £75million deal in 2017.
Lukaku scored 27 goals during his first season at Old Trafford but managed just 12 in the following campaign with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer replacing Jose Mourinho midway through the 2018-19 season.
Since joining Inter in the summer of 2019, he has once again established himself as one of Europe’s most prolific goalscorers, found the net 59 times in 85 appearances for the Italian giants, scoring 25 of those goals this campaign.
Chelsea ready to pay £45m for Paulo Dybala
Chelsea are reportedly eyeing a summer move for Juventus playmaker Paulo Dybala, with Serie A champions consider of sell the Argentine this summer.
Dybala, 27, struggling with injury problem throughout this campaign, which saw him scored just three goals in 16 games this season and also is approaching the final year of his contract with the club.
With talks over a new deal reportedly at a standstill, Juventus are likely cash in on 27-year-old playmaker this summer, and reports in Spanish publication Marca claimed that the Premier League is his most likely destination.

The Reports explain in details that Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal interested in a deal and they are willing to pay up to €45m for the former Palermo starlet.
Dortmund ‘set their price tag for Man United, City, Chelsea and giants of Europe to meet this summer’ over Erling Haaland
Bundesliga giant Borussia Dortmund have reportedly set a staggering £154million asking price for Erling Haaland this summer in bid to thwart off attempts to sign their superb striker.
The Norwegian forward has been sensational since arriving at Signal Iduna Park from RB Salzburg last January, scoring 49 goals in as many games, including 10 in six Champions League matches this season.
With Dortmund struggling to qualify for next season’s Champions League, the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City, United, Barcelona and Real Madrid are all on red alert this summer but ESPN reports that the Black and Yellow side have set a premium of £154m (€180m) for the 20-year-old, a year before a £65m release clause kicks in.
The reports explain in details that the expensive price-tag, which would be a Premier League record transfer if he moved to England, is designed to ward off Europe’s biggest clubs, in a similar stance taken with Jadon Sancho and Manchester United’s pursuit of him last summer.
Borussia Dortmund believe that the asking price should result in Erling Haaland staying at the club for at least another year.
Nevertheless, Manchester City are seen as the favourites in terms of being able to match Dortmund’s asking price. Chelsea, on the other hand, believed they could tempt Dortmund into a deal this summer, the report notes, but this was before the Bundesliga club’s high asking price.
