Chelsea already look set to be without wingers, Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi for their trip to Goodison Park on Saturday night in their premier league encounter against Everton.

Both wingers suffered hamstring injuries with Ziyech limping off during the first half of Chelsea’s 3-1 comeback victory over Leeds United last Saturday while Hudson-Odoi sustained same hamstrings injury whilst in training on Monday.

The pair will be out for two weeks as Frank Lampard speaking in his post match conference after their draw against Krasnodar said according to sportsextral

“Both players are hopefully going to be fit for a week on Wednesday,”

“They had scans which are showing the injuries will be two weeks, so that’s positive, particularly with Hakim.

Following the injury to both players, Blues boss is left with Timo Werner, Kia Havertz, Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic to fill the attacking wide positions for the next three games at least.

Now, according to thechelseachronicle.com, manager Frank Lampard speaking via the club’s official YouTube channel said Christian Pulisic, who has already missed nine matches this season due to injury, is still carrying his hamstrings issue but is training normally ahead of Saturday’s trip to Everton.

“Christian Pulisic had a tiny bit of awareness of the back of the Leeds game, one of his hamstrings,” Lampard told reporters in his press conference on Thursday.

“But he’s training normally, so we should be as we were [in terms of team news].

“Christian is a work in progress. I don’t want to call it’s an injury, [what] he had in midweek.

“If the game [against Krasnodar] had been a different type of game, maybe I would’ve used him — we know his abilities, that’s very clear.

“I just have to find the right way to get the best out of him regularly and consistently.” He said according to thechelseachronicle.com.

Do you think Christian Pulisic should be risked against Everton? What is the likelihood of him not developing another injury? Drop your opinion in the comment session.
