Chelsea Set To Beat Man United To The Signing Of Midfielder After Opening Talks With Club

Chelsea have reportedly stepped up their pursuit for South American midfielder Moises Caicedo, according to reports.
Despite speculations claiming the 19-year old is due to join Manchester United in a deal worth around £4.5million, the Red Devils are not in advance talks with Independiente del Valle in signing him.
And according to the Daily Mail, Chelsea have been keeping close tabs on the progress of the midfielder and have reportedly opened talks with Independiente del Valle over the signing Moises Caicedo when the transfer window opens.
Although, Chelsea and Manchester United aren’t the only Premier League sides to be keeping eye on the Ecuadorian midfielder, with both Newcastle United and Brighton & Hove Albion also registering interest in him.
Should the Blues end up securing the signature of Caicedo, he would definitely fit into Frank Lampard’s style of play, with the Blues legend having been willing to promote youth players during his time as manager at Stamford Bridge.
