Chelsea star, Benzema, Kylian Mbappe and 8 other players in UEFA Champions League team of the season

The 2021/2022 UEFA Champions League team of the season has been released by the European football governing body on Tuesday morning, and eleven best players in the competition have been chosen.

This season’s UEFA Champions League came to an end on Saturday night, and Spanish Laliga Santander champions Real Madrid football club defeated Liverpool football club of England 1-0 at Stade de France.

A second half goal from Brazilian youngster Vinicius Junior was enough to give Carlo Ancelotti’s men a remarkable 1-0 victory over their opponent.

Many players were exceptional in the just concluded UEFA Champions League, and their excellent performances have helped them to be named in the team of the season.

Four Real Madrid football club players were named in UEFA Champions League team of the season, and the players are; Karim Benzema, Vinicius Junior, Luca Modric and Thibaut Courtois.

Four Liverpool football club players also made the list and they are; Fabinho, Andrew Robertson, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnord.

Antonio Rüdiger of Chelsea football club, Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint Germain football club and Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City football club.

UEFA posted on their verified Twitter handle on Tuesday morning that;

“UEFA’s Technical Observer panel has selected its 2021/22 UEFA Champions League Team of the Season.”
