After a good start to his Chelsea career, the 80 million pound attacking midfielder bought from bayern leverkusen kai Havertz tested positive for corona virus about two weeks ago which led him to self isolation and caused his absence in the last two games for the west London side. The side did miss his absence but still the club continued their good form as they won their last two matches with three goals difference each.

Havertz, who has registered three goal contributions in eight top-flight appearances this season, showed fans a glimpse of his recovery progress on Twitter by posting a photo of himself using an exercise bike at home.

The caption reads: “Working on keeping the fitness levels.”

It remains to be seen whether or not the 21-year-old will be involved for Chelsea as they travel to Newcastle United next weekend, but the signs are encouraging

club is now pleased as the player’s result came back negative and he has now resumed training at Cobahm, the midfield ace is very much expected to make the game against Newcastle on Saturday.

The club would still be missing the American Pulisic due to injury, Ben Chilwell would be given time to rest due to his reported back pain and Thiago silva would be missing Saturday’s action too as the club is looking to manage his play times and give him proper rest.

The club seems more favourable for the win on Saturday which could see them draw level with league leaders Leicester City at 18 points.
