Chelsea unveils new defender Benoît Badiashile after signing a seven and a half years contract



English Premier League giants Chelsea football club have unveiled France defender Benoit Badiashile on Thursday evening, after signing a seven a half years deal with the club.

The youngster has been in an astonishing form for Monaco football club since the beginning of the season and his excellent performance has made him to be signed by Chelsea football club.

The 21-year-old was linked with the likes of Real Madrid football club, Barcelona football club, Manchester United football club and Liverpool FC before Chelsea FC won the race.

Benoit Badiashile made 11 appearances for AS Monaco football club this season and he scored the total number of 2 goals for the team.

Chelsea football club have now signed four defenders in 2022/2023 season, having signed Marc Cucurella, Wesley Fofana and Kalidou Koulibaly in the summer transfer window.

Benoit Badiashile from AS Monaco football club for – £35 million

Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli football club of Italy – £34 million.

The Blues have now spent the total of 207 million on defenders.
