Do you agree with my predictions for this weekend’s PL and La liga matches?

With the November international break formally bringing an end to International football in 2020, football fans can now solely shift their focus to club football which resumes this weekend.

There are some tantalizing fixtures that will be played out over the weekend with matches in the English Premier league, Spanish la liga and Serie A set to come thick and fast.

Having said that, I’ll be dropping my predictions on matches to be played in the Premier league and la liga this weekend.

My predictions on the English Premier league fixtures

Newcastle Vs Chelsea

The first fixture of the weekend see Newcastle host the in-form blues at St James Park on Saturday. Newcastle wont be a walk over like so many Chelsea fans see them, plus most of their players had a timely rest during international break while unlike the Chelsea players who were away on international duty.

Frank Lampard side are expected to win this one, but they might just suffer from fatigue against their more fresher opponents.

My Prediction: Newcastle 2 vs 2 Chelsea(Draw)

Tottenham vs Manchester city

Undoubtedly the biggest fixture of this weekend in the premier league, Tottenham welcome a stuttering Manchester city side to white Hartlane with rivals Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola looking to lock horns once again.

My Prediction: Tottenham 1 vs 0 Manchester city (Tottenham win)

Manchester united vs West brom

Ole Gunner Solskjaer will be keen for his side to end their four month winless streak at home when they welcome West brom at Old trafford. The baggies are bottom of the premier league table, but will undoubtedly fancy their chances against an inconsistent Manchester united side.

My Prediction: Man United 3 vs 0 West brom (Manchester united win)

Leeds united vs Arsenal

Premier league new comers leeds united face a stern test when they play Arsenal on Sunday in the English Premier league.

With both teams not in any sort of remarkable form, this game could go either way.

My Prediction: Leeds united 2 vs 1 Arsenal (Leeds united win)

Liverpool vs Leicester city

Defending Champions Liverpool will do battle with Jamie Vardy and co when they take on Leicester city on sunday.

With the flurry of injuries and absentees in Liverpool’s squad at the moment, there is a big chance that we might see a repeat of the humiliating defeat to Aston Villa few weeks back.

My Prediction: Liverpool 1 vs 4 Leicester city (Leicester city win)

My predictions on the Spanish la liga

Villarreal vs Real Madrid

Real Madrid resume with a baptism of fire when they take on Villarreal in the Spanish la liga on sunday.. The return of Eden hazard will come as a welcome boost to Zinedine Zidane’s men who will be without captain Sergio Ramos for their next two games.

Prediction : Villarreal 2 vs 2 Real Madrid (draw)

Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid

Barcelona would be looking to secure a back to back la liga wins when they take on Atletico Madrid at the Camp nou stadium on Sunday. The visitors who are the most in-form team in La liga at the moment will be looking to climb up the table when they take on Ronald Koeman men . This match promises to be very entertaining.
