Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam interested in Maduka Okoye

Dutch Eredivisie giants Ajax Amsterdam have been linked with a move for Nigeria international Maduka Okoye in the summer transfer window, according to reports.

Okoye has seen his stock rise in 2020-2021, somehow forcing his way into the Super Eagles and Sparta Rotterdam’s starting lineups. In nineteen league appearances, the 21-year-old has kept six clean sheets but none against the top six teams in the Eredivisie, while conceding 28 goals. The Super Eagle earned rave reviews for his fine display in the 1-0 away win at VVV Venlo on Tuesday after making an unbelievable last-minute save to prevent the opponents from equalising.

Juventus are still eager to bring Paul Pogba back to Serie A, Calciomercato reports. The midfielder has been constantly linked with a return to the Turin giants and the move may go ahead this summer.
