The Premier League clubs has been going through a lot financially since the outbreak of the Corona virus. However, Premier League clubs are better shielded against the financial implications of the pandemic than most businesses. Most clubs are expected to be sniffing around players who will be out of contract with their respective clubs. This is the reason why most clubs agree pre contracts with players that have got six months left in their current contract. The signing of signing pre-contract can be done under the Bosman ruling.
