Impossible for Liverpool to sign Upamecano this month
Liverpool will it almost impossible to sign RB Leipzig Centreback Dayot Upamecano this month according to Sky sports.
The English side have identified Upamecano as the man to solve their defensive woes this season, but Sky Sports now understand that it will be almost impossible for Jurgen klopp to land Upamecano in the current transfer window as Leipzig are not willing to let go of their prized asset now.
AC Milan open talks with Former Juventus striker
Serie A giants AC Milan has opened talks with former Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic according to reports in Italy.
The 34 year old is a free agent after terminating his contract with Al-Duhail in 2020, and would not oppose a move to AC Milan who are looking for a backup striker to Zlatan Ibrahimovic who have been blighted with numerous Injury problems this season.
Kane to remain at Tottenham till 2024
Totten ham striker Harry Kane will remain at the club until 2024 according to Micheal Brown.
Kane has been linked with a move to Manchester city ahead of next summer, but Brown in an interview with Football Insider stated that Tottenham are not under any pressure to sell their prized asset and expects the 28 year old striker to remain at the club up until 2024.
Chelsea unwilling to let Barkley leave on a cheap
Chelsea are not willing to let midfielder Ross Barkley leave the club on a cheap.
Barkley has been on loan at Aston Villa since the start of the season where he has hugely impressed alongside fellow Englishman Jack Grealish. Aston Villa are keen on retaining the services of the 27year old permanently, but would have to pay an eye catching fee to Chelsea who are not ready to let the midfielder leave on a cheap.
Neymar close to new deal
Paris Saint German Superstar Neymar is close to a new deal at the club according to Mundo Deportivo.
The 28 year old was close to a return to Barcelona two seasons ago, but will now put an end to any speculation linking him with a return to the Catalan club as he is close to signing an extension on his current deal in France with PSG.
Atletico Madrid complete Dembele signing
Atletico Madrid have completed the signing 9f Lyon forward Moussa Dembele.
The French international would intially join on a temporary loan deal with the Spanish club having the opportunity to permanently purchase the striker on fee worth up to £30 million. Dembele would slot straight into Diego Simeone’s side as a replacement for Diego Costa who left after canceling his contract with the club earlier this month.
Nigerian youngster joins MLS side
Nigerian youngster Ibrahim Sanusi has joined MLS side Montreal Impact.
The Canadian based club have completed the signing of the Nigerian born 18 year old on a three deal with an option of extending for a further year from 36 Lion Fc. Montreal Impact is coached by former Arsenal forward and Premier league legend Thierry Henry.
Garcia agrees to return to Barcelona
Manchester city defender Eric Garcia has agreed personal terms to return to Barcelona according to Goal.
The 20 year old has refused to sign a new contract at current club Manchester city with his contract set to expire in the summer. Garcia has now reportedly agreed terms to make a return to Barcelona although the Catalan club are yet to come to an agreement with Manchester City over a transfer fee for the Centreback.
Hazard will come good at Madrid – Modric
Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric has revealed that he is positive that Eden Hazard will come good at the club.
Hazard joined the Spaniard club back in 2019 for a record breaking £120 million, but has greatly struggled for form and fitness with the striker already being touted as the worse big money signing in the club’s history.
Well, 2018 Ballon D’or winner who played against Hazard in the English Premier league has stated that he is confident the 30 year old will come good and show why the club spent so much to sign him.
Barcelona rejected Ronaldo in 2003
Barcelona presidential candidate Joan Laporte has revealed that the club rejected the chance to sign Cristiano Ronaldo in 2003.
The one time Barcelona president claimed that the Catalan club were offered the opportunity of signing a young Ronaldo back in 2003, but turned down the opportunity as they already had deals in place for Ronaldinho and Deco at the time.
The 58 year old also added that he does not regret turning down the Portuguese winger who had since gone on to become one of the greatest players in the history of football.
