Game Week 10 saw a handful of top matches from epl clubs, with some teams impressing and others flattering.

Manchester City were the biggest with a 5:0 trashing of Burnley at home, Chelsea and Spurs played out a goaless draw.

United left it late to secure all three points against Southampton, Arsenal lost at home to wolves, while Liverpool were unlucky not to get all 3 points against Brighton, after VAR gave the home team a late penalty to level the game at 1:1.

The likes of Leeds and Westbrom were also impressive, as they secured wins against Everton and Sheffield United respectively.

I will thus be looking at the combined team of the just concluded weekend games, of match day 10.

1. Gk (Edouard Mendy Chelsea):

Another brilliant day in the office for the Senegalese shot stopper, as he was able to keep a cleansheet against a high scoring Spurs.

Made a handful of key saves the few times he was called into action, and proved his worth as one of the best shot stoppers in the league at the moment.

2. Right back, Darnell Furlong (Westbrom):

A very decent and impressive performance from the Westbrom right week back, as his team were 1:0 winners at home to Sheffield United over the weekend.

Furlong, played in a handful of dangerous crosses through out the game, and was a threat going forward as he linked up well with Pereira, and was also solid defensively.

3. Left back, Marcal (Wolves):

One of the numerous players who were instrumental to Wolves 2:1 win at the Emirates over the weekend.

The left back Marcal kept it neat and tidy at the back, keeping out threats from Arsenal’s forward players.

4. Center back (Kurt Zouma Chelsea & Willy Boly Wolves):

Two most outstanding center backs in the Epl over the course of the weekend, were Zouma and Boly of Chelsea and wolves respectively.

Zouma put in one of his best performance of the season, as he was able to deal with the forward players of Spurs which included Harry Kane and Son.

Boly on the other hand did well alongside captain Conor Coady, as they were able to grind out a hard fought win at Arsenal.

5. Holding Midfielders Joao Moutinho & Kalvin Phillips (Wolves & Leeds):

The game at Arsenal saw veteran Portuguese midfielder Moutinho produce one of his best displays of the season, he barely did anything wrong in midfield, helping out both in attack and defense.

Likewise Kalvin Phillips who put in a man of the match performance for Leeds against Everton over the weekend, making delightful through passes across the field, and did well defensively through out 90 minutes.

6. Attacking midfielders, Kelvin de Bruyne & Bruno Fernandes (City & Man United):

Arguably the two best midfielders in the premier league this season, and once again proved their worth.

De Bruyne will be happy to get a couple of assits against Burnley, as his forward players were able to convert his chances. Was outstanding through out the game.

Fernandes on the other hand is no doubt the best Manchester United player this season, and was vital in their narrow win at Southampton. Capped his lovely performance with a goal.

7. Forwads Edison Cavani & Riyad Mahrez (United & Man City):

Two of the hottest forward players in the league over the weekend, as their goals were enable to do the magic for their respective club sides.

Cavani showed his class against Southampton with two well taken goals, which secured all three points for the red devils.

While Mahrez was just too good for Burnley to handle, as he got his first hat trick for his club side Manchester City over the weekend.

Coach, Nuno Espírito Santo (Wolves):

Credit has to go to the Portuguese tactician, who once again guided his side to a hard fought victory at the Emirates.

Wolves defeated Arsenal by 2-1 in an outstanding performance from Nuno’s men.

Here is how the team will line up in a 4-4-2 formation.
