Erling Haaland to miss out on Man United move as Thiago Silva’s Chelsea return date is revealed

Borrusia Dortmund striker, Erling Haaland has been advised that his future lies at Chelsea, and not Manchester United. The Norwegian has been constantly linked with the premier league, and his next destination might just be London, rather than in the red part of Manchester.

 

According to Paul Merson, a Sky Sports pundit, he said that the 20 year old striker will be an instant success at Chelsea, given their style of play under Thomas Tuchel, as well as having so many creative players around him. He however said Harry Kane will be a perfect fit for Manchester United, should they decide to sign a more reliable striker. It remains to be seen where Haaland will be next season as a lot of European heavyweights are circling around him.

In another news, Chelsea’s 36 year old defender, Thiago Silva is set to return in time to face Athletico Madrid in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 match. The Brazilian who suffered an hamstring injury in the win against Tottenham has missed two matches and will likely miss a further two, to keep fit in order to retain his place against the Spanish team.
