Chelsea football club will most definitely be aiming towards winning one or more trophies under the management of Thomas Tuchel before the end of the 2021/2022 season.

The West London club made some additions to their squad during the summer as they look to rival the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool for the Premier League title this season.

However, that is not quite going on well for Chelsea so far as they are currently occupying the third position on the Premier League table following their latest disappointing 1-1 draw away to Brighton on Tuesday night.

Coupled with that, Chelsea could be rocked with reports that experienced central defender Andreas Christensen could be on his way out of the club on a free transfer.

The 25-year-old Denmark International, who joined Chelsea way back in 2012 has been quite an influential member of the first-team squad over the previous seasons.

The experienced centre-back was quite involved for Chelsea during the 2020/2021 season where he made a total of 27 appearances in all competitions as the Blues won the UEFA Champions League.

Andreas Christensen has also started the ongoing season on a good note, scoring two goals and creating one assist in the 21 matches he has played for Chelsea so far.

But then, Andreas Christensen has less than six months left on his current contract with Chelsea and due to his refusal to sign a new contract, he could be planning to leave the club.

And according to reports from The Sun, Andreas Christensen has attracted interests from a host of clubs as they look to sign him on a free transfer later this year.

The reports further claimed that Andreas Christensen is appreciated by English clubs and he has been approached by several Premier League clubs ahead of a transfer move.

Andreas Christensen has been very good for Chelsea and its of no surprise that he is attracting interest from several Premier League clubs this transfer window.

That said, it remains to be seen if Chelsea will be willing to cash in on Andreas Christensen this month or risk losing him on a free transfer when his contract expires in June.
