‘Finished’ Eden Hazard slated for denying Kevin de Bruyne one of the greatest assists

Eden Hazard has been accused of being ‘finished’ after he denied Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne a spectacular assist.

Belgium’s ‘golden generation’ booked their ticket to Qatar for probably the last chance to gain silverware as a collective.

But Thorgan’s older brother, Eden, should have added his name to the scoresheet when De Bruyne unleashed him with a wicked through ball that took out the entirety of the Estonian side.

And fans were quick to comment on social media.

“KDB let down once again, he’s got no shot at an international trophy with this lot,” a City fan fumed on Twitter.

Another added: “The downfall Hazard [has] had over past years made sure that he will never be considered amongst one of the greats ever again, [Riyad] Mahrez has a bigger legacy than him.”

“Hazard is finished lol,” a third tweeted after seeing the miss.

A fourth tweeted: “It’s lowkey sad seeing Hazard become so s*** from a great player that he once was.”

At Chelsea, Eden Hazard was one of the Premier League’s most coveted talents, and after a storied time at Stamford Bridge, he moved onto Real Madrid.

However, Hazard has struggled at Los Blancos due to a string of injuries that have kept him on the sidelines.

The Belgian has 10 La Liga appearances to his name this season, but he has just one goal contribution with an assist against Deportivo Alaves
