FPL Gameweek 9 – head-to-head comparisons: James Rodriguez vs Kai Havertz

Everton midfielder James Rodriguez (£7.9m) may not have registered an attacking return for the last three gameweeks, but the Colombian missed one of those games through injury and it would be no surprise if the injury affected him over the course of the other two matches.

Kai Havertz (£8.3m) meanwhile, has also gone three gameweeks without an attacking return. He like Rodriguez was also absent for one of those matches.

Both will be looking to turn their fortunes around in Gameweek 9 as Everton face Fulham at Craven Cottage and Chelsea travel to Newcastle.

The Magpies face a Blues side who have scored 20 goals already this season, although Havertz only has one of those goals. Rodriguez though, has three goals along with three assists and against a Fulham side who have conceded 15 league goals so far this campaign, the cheaper Rodriguez is the choice for us here.
