Latest Update: Chelsea transfer target Erling Haaland has same opinion of Frank Lampard as Hakim Ziyech

Borrusia Dortmund star Erling Haaland is a big fan of Frank Lampard and has been linked with a transfer switch to the Blues in the future.
Haaland, 20, who has closer to complete a move to United in winter window earlier of the year, choose German giant over the Red Devils, has been in sensational form this season, netting 17 goals in all competitions.
Chelsea currently have Tammy Abraham, Timo Werner and Olivier Giroud as their options but boss Frank Lampard identified the forward as primary target next summer as he looks to close the gap on Premier League champions Liverpool.
The Norway international forward is a fan of the Chelsea manager and wishes he could have played with him back in the day.
In quick-fire Q&A with ESPN, Erling Haaland was previously asked the one player he would have liked to play with and said: ‘Frank Lampard.’
Haaland’s opinion echoes that of new Chelsea signing Hakim Ziyech who joined from Ajax in the summer transfer window.
Ziyech said: ‘In his time he was such a big player and he was a midfielder so I can learn a lot from him. In that regard, I have a lot to learn.
‘I had a good feeling after our talks and that feeling only became stronger. There was no doubt in my mind.’
After successive defeat in Premier League, Frank Lampard’s side bounced back to winning ways with 3-0 victory over London rival West Ham United on Monday night.
The Blues return to action on Boxing Day when they take on Arsenal, who sitting in 15th position in league standings.
The Blues are currently fifth in the table, six points behind defending champions Liverpool.
Chelsea may be without Ben Chilwell and Hakim Ziyech for the trip to the Emirates to take on the out of form Arsenal.
‘They are both doubtful,’ said Lampard.
‘I can’t give you an answer at the moment. I’m not sure if they will be fit for either game.
