Manchester City have reached an agreement with Jorge Mendes over personal terms for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Super agent Jorge Mendes has ‘made contact’ with Manchester City over a possible transfer for Cristiano Ronaldo – according to reports.

Having already spent £100million on Jack Grealish this summer, key figures responsible for incomings and outgoings at the Etihad Stadium were dealt a hammer blow in their follow-up pursuit for Harry Kane.

Indeed, despite identifying the England captain as a priority target, the 28 year old will now remain in London this season after posting an update on social media.

Seemingly, that has opened the door for Ronaldo to return to Manchester from Juventus.

A legend across this football city at Old Trafford, the Portuguese sensation has been constantly linked with a move away from Serie A – prompting French publication L’Equipe to report that Ronaldo himself is keen on a switch to the Etihad Stadium.

Following up on those suggestions, renowned Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano claims Mendes has strove to hold talks with the Premier League champions.
