Newcastle Vs Chelsea: Possible Chelsea Lineup As Kai Harvertz Tests Negative To Covid-19 #NEWCHE

The London side will be heading down to St. James’s Park for a clash with the Magpies on Saturday afternoon; 20th November, 2020.
The Blue side have been on top form with their new signings giving out tremendous output on the pitch. With the current wave of injuries and Covid-19 victims hitting major clubs like Liverpool and Madrid, it seems the Blue side has taken a partial hit from the wave.
According to Lampard, the Brazilian defender, Thiago Silva, may not make it to the Saturday Lineup due to his late arrival from Brazil and with no time left for him to train. The Blue side’s Coach believes that the defender needed to rest from his completed trip to Brazil.
“Thiago Silva has just landed. He just messaged me this afternoon so he probably won’t be going to Newcastle because of the length of the journey and timings.” Lampard had reported on the status of Silva.
This would mean that Silva would have to get replaced by another defender. Maybe Christensen, Tomori or Rudiger.
Christian Pulisic recovers from injury
On Christian Pulisic, Lampard made the following remarks:
“Christian has had a problematic injury and I think it is normal, every player is different. Christian had a history of muscle injuries before he came to us and he has had them again. Everything about Christian, how he is around the training ground and how he prepares is absolutely perfect.”
“We need to try and find the right balance between playing, training and resting throughout the week. He is a young player still and it is not abnormal, we will find a solution and I don’t want to make more out of it than it is because we want Christian available with his ability, but at the minute he is injured and in the short term he is a work in progress.”
“We have a great medical team here and we are very joined up in trying to get the best out of Pulisic as we possibly can.”
The young player has suffered hamstring injuries that has caused him to miss four games including tomorrow’s match. This is not surprising, considering the young star aggressive style of playing.
Kai Harvertz Tests Negative To Covid-19
Harvertz who recently tested positive to the current pandemic disease has been reported to have tested negative.
Lampard gave an update on his status.
“Kai Havertz is back, his Isolation is over. He tested negative two days ago, so he’s just started training that’s more on his own to get individually some of his fitness back after two weeks at home.”
It’s uncertain if the German midfielder would be starting for the clash against the Magpies, because he might need some time to fully get fit after his ordeal.
Lampard may be forced to use the same formation he used two weeks back against Sheffield United.
Chelsea (4-3-3): Mendy; James, Zouma, Thiago Silva (c), Chilwell; Kovacic, Kante, Mount; Ziyech, Abraham, Werner.
With Silva or Chilwell appearance still in doubt.
However the case maybe, it’ll really be a tough afternoon for the blues.
