Olivier Giroud makes honest admission about his Chelsea career which will get fans excited

There’s been a lot of talk surrounding the future of Olivier Giroud at Chelsea. The Frenchman has struggled for playing time at Stamford Bridge this season, and there’s been lots of reports that he could move elsewhere in January to get playing time ahead of the Euros next summer.
He did get a rare start in the Champions League against Sevilla, and scored four goals, which has earned him a lot of praise, and has seen more clamours from fans for him to start moving forward.
Giroud himself has now spoken on his Chelsea career. The 34-year old revealed in an interview with the club’s website that he is looking to win titles with the club. There are fears he could lose his place in the French national team squad, but he has reiterated he feels he can achieve whatever he wants by playing at Chelsea.
‘If I play a bit more than in the beginning of the season, I have a good chance to be fit and ready for the Euros
‘I had a conversation with Deschamps and he said if the situation stayed like that, I will have to take a decision in January. I am pretty sure I can get some more game time and stay at Chelsea because that is what I want. I want to win trophies with Chelsea so basically that’s it.
‘You never know in football, everything is going very fast, but right now I am very happy. I am a happy man and I am proud to be a Chelsea player.’
Oli certainly deserves more playing time. But it’s good to know he is happy and proud with Chelsea.
