Brazilian star Thiago Silva has reacted after Chelsea suffered their second defeat of the season in the hand of Carlo Ancelotti led Everton football club on Saturday night at Goodison Park, as they were defeated 1-0, no thanks to a first half penalty scored by Iceland star Gylfi Sigurgsson.

After being rested on Tuesday night in the Blues 1-1 draw against Russia Premier League giants Krasnodar FC at Stamford Bridge, coach Frank Lampard handed the former Paris Saint Germain star another starting role in the defence line alongside Ben Chilwell, Kurt Zouma, and Reece James, and they tried all the best they could to defend their team from being humiliated.

Former Swansea FC star Gylfi Sigurgsson opened scoring for Everton FC in the 22nd minutes via a penalty kick, after Senegalese goalkeeper Edouard Mendy miscalculated the ball as he pushed England star Dominic Calvert-Lewin inside the box, and the lone goal was enough for the home team to beat the former English Premier League champions.

Reacting after Chelsea were defeated 1-0 by Everton FC, Thiago Silva posted on his verified Instagram handle that;

“It wasn’t the result that we expected, now it’s time to recover, because next Tuesday we have one more hard game, and we have to react ??. ”
