Premier League club sacks manager after a disappointing run of games

The 2020-21 premier league season is yet to enter its second half of the season and a Premier League manager has already been axed.

Premier League club, West Bromwich Albion has now sacked manager, Slaven Bilic despite getting a draw against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City last night and former England boss, Sam Allardyce is set to replace him.

Bilic will be the first managerial casualty of the Premier League campaign as the Baggies look to inject some life into their bid for top-flight survival.

The Hawthorns are languishing in the 19th position of the League table and are feared to be relegated of things remain like this.

However, the former Croatia manager was out of contract at the end of the season and, although his side will take encouragement from Tuesday night’s draw at City, there have been reservations over the style of play and results.

The 52 year old Croatian relationship with the West Brom board has been up and down since promotion to the Premier League and reached a new low in October when Albion sold Ahmed Hegazi.
