Premier League Team of the Week for MatchDay 11



After a weekend, full of ups and downs in the premier league, some football fans were jubilants while some were murmuring because of the week’s result. Here is the team of the week from the just concluded game week.

Gk:Caiomhin Kelleher

The young Liverpool player was able to make some excellent saves from the match to give the Liverpool fans something to jubilate. They kept another cleansheet in the week after making 4 saves.

RB: Matt Doherty

The Spurs full back was electric throughout their match against their North London rivals. He caused defensive problems for Arsenal throughout the match.

CB: Joel Matip

The Liverpool defender was pivotal as he made some tackles to help his team keep a clean sheet and also scored the 3rd goal of the match.

CB: Jannik Vestergaard

The Southampton match an important goal to help his team make a comeback against the Seagulls.

LB: Andy Robertson

The Liverpool man showed his ever electric presence in the game. He kept Adama Traore out of his best in the match and also helped Liverpool keep another cleansheet.

CM: Georginio Wijnaldum

The Dutch player made his presence known in the middle of the park for Liverpool. He also scored the 2nd goal of the match, and dedicated it to Van Dijk.

CM: Kelvin De Bruyne

The Belgian player was electric in the match. He scored and assisted one in their match against Fulham.

CAM: Wilfred Zaha

Score twice and forced another own goal in their 5-1 rampage against West Brom. He clearly shows he is the main player for the Eagles.

RWF: Mo Salah

The Egyptian attacker forced an error from Wolves defender before teeing up another to help his team to another league win.

LWF: Heung Min Son

The Korean attacker showed no sign of resilience in their win against North London rivals, Arsenal. He scored a 30 yard ball and later teed up attacking partner, Harry Kane.

CF: Christian Benteke

Scored two wonderful goals against West Brom. Hope to see more of that though.


GK: Hugo Lloris

Defenders: Neco Williams, Kurt Zouma

Midfielders: Jordan Henderson, Christian Pulisic

Attackers: Raheem Sterling, Harry Kane
