England international and prolific defender, Reece Jameswas in action today for Chelsea in their 10th game of the English premier league against Newcastle United at the St James’ Park.

The football youngster was handed a role to play in his team’s starting XI following his outstanding performance for the club in their previous game and he was able to impress.

Reece James was the hero of the day as he scored a brilliant brace which was instrumental in their crucial three goals to nil scoreline at full time that placed them at the top of the table.

The first half of the game was such a balanced one between the two sides as there was nothing separating them going into the half time break which ended goalless draw.

After playing out an intensed goalless first half, the tempo of the game got more heated up in the second half as they both put up some physical, tactical and technical displays but none was able to break the deadlock until the 65th minute when Reece James got the opener for the Blues to make it one nil before he was able to net his brace in the 77th minute to make it two goals to nil.

In the 81st minute of the game, the Thomas Tuchel’s side were able to extend their lead with a goal from Jorginho as he scored via penalty by putting the ball away from the spot to make it three goals to nil.

After every other attempts from both sides to add more to the tally of the game, all were not successful as it ended three nil at full time.
