No doubts, Arsenal football club have been one of the few active English club in this summer transfer window.

The North London club are very much aware of their need to compete for trophies this season and have added the likes of Nuno Tavares, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Aaron Ramsdale and Martin Odegaard to improve their current squad under the management of Mikel Arteta.

However, that has not quite worked so far as the Gunners are currently rooted in 20th position on the Premier League table after losing their first three league matches against Brentford, Chelsea and Manchester City respectively.

And due to those disappointing results, it is believed that the Emirates side will continue to look into the transfer market in order to add more players to improve their squad.

That said, Arsenal will now have to offload some of their fringe players so as to free up the wage bills and create space for new additions to the squad.

And if reports are anything to go by, then Arsenal forward Willian Borges is in line to quit the North London club before the summer transfer window is over.

The 33-year-old Brazil International, who joined Arsenal from arch-rivals Chelsea in 2020 has failed to live up to expectations at the club since he made the move.

The veteran winger scored just one goal and provided seven assists in 37 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal last season and he is now set to depart the club.

According to reports from popular transfer expert Fabrizio Romano via his verified Twitter page, Willian has caught the attentions of Brazilian side Corinthians and they are now the favourites to sign him.

The reports further claimed that Willian has reached an agreement with Corinthians and paperworks will be signed as soon as possible and then the deal will be announced.

That said, the veteran winger is expected to have departed and will play no part when Arsenal resume their Premier league campaign against Norwich City after the international break next month
