Without much doubts, Chelsea football club will most definitely remain keen on securing a top four finish on the Premier League table by the end of this season.

The West London club have been in a good run of form for the most part of the 2021/2022 season and are currently occupying the 3rd position on the Premier League table.

Coupled with that, Chelsea football club are also charging for more trophies under the management of Thomas Tuchel and have booked their place in the final of the English FA Cup.

But now, Chelsea could be boosted with reports that experienced defensive midfielder Tiemoue Bakayokois in line to return to the club from his loan spell when the transfer window opens.

The 27-year-old France International, who signed up for Chelsea after departing Ligue 1 side AS Monaco back in 2017 has struggled to live up to expectations at the club.

The experienced defensive midfielder was sent out on loan to Serie A side Napoli during the 2020/2021 season where he scored two goals and created two assists in 44 appearances in all competitions.

Tiemoue Bakayoko returned to Chelsea last summer but was once again sent out on loan to Serie A side AC Milan for the 2021/2022 season where he has made 17 appearances in all competitions so far.

Tiemoue Bakayoko failed to impress at AC Milan so far this season and according to reports from The Sun, the Serie A giants are ready to terminate his loan deal.

The reports further claimed that AC Milan have seen enough of the defensive midfielder and are now set to cancel his loan deal and send him back to his parent club Chelsea.

That said, it remains to be seen if Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel will choose to include the experienced Tiemoue Bakayoko in his plans for next season when he eventually returns to the club in the summer.
