See The Chelsea Wonderkid Who Dribbles ‘Like Hazard’ Tuchel Must Play Often

One youngster who impressed after coming on late was Fautino Anjorin. The 19 year old wonderkid showed why a lot of pundits and fans alike say he ‘dribbles like Hazard’ in the game. Faustino Anjorin has been in and around the first team since last season during Frank Lampard’s tenure. He has long been tipped to be the next big thing at Chelsea and follow in the footsteps of Mount and James to break into the Chelsea first team. He made a handful of appearances under Lampard, both last season and this season and continues to impress new boss Thomas Tuchel.

Anjorin is blessed with incredible, hazard like dribbling ability and a wonderful physique. He is incredibly hard to push off the ball and has an eye for a pass. Against Krasnodar earlier this season, he showed glimpses of his talents with some mesmerising may dribbles and pinpoint passing. Also in the international level, he is a seasoned England U21 player and will male his debut for the senior team soon if his progress continues moving in the right direction. Since Tuchel took charge, one thing this Chelsea team has been lacking is the ability to split teams open with passes or dribbles. This has led to them dropping points against Southampton and Leeds United.

With Anjorin in the squad, Tuchel can give the wonderkid more chance to impress. With Pulisic, Werner and Ziyech not really giving those 100% performances week in, week out, Tuchel can afford to throw Anjorin in more often. Playing him off the bench is a good example and it will help bring him closer to the physicality of the Premier league. Most times, instead of sending out your youngsters out on loan where there is a chance of failure, you should try to play them off the bench a bit more when games have been won. Just like how Pep slowly introduced Phil Foden, Tuchel can copy that and also slowly introduce Anjorin. A lot of Chelsea wonderkids have been ruined as a result of Chelsea’s bad loan policy, and Anjorin does not deserve that fate. Anjorin is clearly talented, and Tuchel must do everything in his power to make him one of the big names for Chelsea like Lampard did for Mason Mount.

What do you think about this? Does Anjorin have what it takes to make the Chelsea team?
