The English Premier League match day 12 was concluded today, with many games decided across various stadia in England.
Arsenal and Leicester City climaxed things for us at the Emirates and the King power Stadium. The Gunners suffered an embarrassing 1-0 loss to the Clarets. An uninspiring first 45 mins saw the game end goalless at the break, before Granut Dhaka was sent off and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored an own goal.
Leicester defeated Brighton & Hove Albion . A James Madison brace and a Jamie Vardy strike gave Brendan Rodgers men a 3-0 halftime lead, and they held on to the three goal lead till the end of the game.
The likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, Manchester City and Manchester United all failed to get wins this weekend.
There weren’t lots of goals or assists, but there were some changes nonetheless. So here’s how the various charts look:
Top scorer
Dominic Calvert-Lewin still leads this chart with 11 goals, but Jamie Vardy has closed the gap to just one, with his goal against Brighton taking his tally to 10 goals this season. Harry Kane also climbed further after his goal against Crystal Palace took him up to 9 this season.
Most Assists
Kane is still well in front in this chart with 10 assists, with Kevin De Bruyne the closest to him on assists.
Most Clean sheets
Edouard Mendy still tops this chart despite conceding against Everton, and is level on five clean sheets with Hugo Lloris, Emiliano Martinez, Alex McCarthy and Ederson.
