Starting XI Of The Best Players Going To AFCON 2021 Featuring Ndidi, Salah, Mendy And Mahrez

The African cup of Nation tournament will be kicking off few days from now, and as such, alot of actions are expected to be displayed as various African players playing for top European clubs will be appearing live on the competition representing their respective Nations.

So because of that, I decided to put up this article to display the combined starting XI of the best players that will be playing in the competition this year.

A. Goal keeper – Senegal goal keeper Edouard Mendy, beats all other African goal keepers to the goal keeping position, due to his previous success with Chelsea in the Champions league competition and his current top form for both clubs and Country.

Mendy equaled Peter Cech goal keeping record in his first season at the club last year.

B. Defenders – Senegal defender Koulibaly, will be teaming up with Tapsoba in he center back positions, while Hakimi and Saiss will be occupying the two full back positions respectively.

C. Midfielders.

1. Wilfred Ndidi – Ndidi will be occupying the defensive midfield position, following his recent market value increase.

2. Franck Kessie – The AC Milan midfielder will be pairing with Brighton Hove Albion player Bissouma, in the attacking midfield positions respect.

D. Attackers – Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Riyad Mahrez on the other hand, will be leading the attacking frontline due to their exploits in their respective premier league clubs.
