“Terminate My Contract, I Want To Leave in January” – Former Chelsea Striker Tells Club He Wants Out

Former controversial Chelsea star striker, Diego Costa has informed his club of his desire to quit the playing them come this January. Costa moved to English Premier League club, Chelsea from Spanish La Liga side, Atletico Madrid where he won the Premier League title under Antonio Conte.

The Spain intentional had a spectacular season under Conte’s first season in charge before the 2 fell out the following season which prompted the player to refuse returning back to training and demanded to leave the club.

He later moved back to his former club, Atletico Madrid where he has been struggling to replicate his initial form which made him one of the deadliest striker in Europe.

Now, the Brazil born is at it again. This time, he has asked Atletico Madrid to terminate his contract in the coming Winter transfer window in January.

Diego Costa’s deal at the club expires at the end of the season but as things stands now, he has been given permission to miss training and which means he could be allowed to leave for free.
