The Premier League Matchday 14 has finally been completed last night with Chelsea vs West Ham being the last game for the Game week

It was an interesting week of football which saw a lot of dramas, records being broken and some team making a big statement in the Premier League.

Below is how all the 10 fixtures ended in Matchday 14.

1. Crystal Palace 0 – 7 Liverpool:

Liverpool thrashed Crystal Palace 7-0 at the Selhurst Park Stadium to move to the top of the Premier League table.

Goals from Takumi Minamino, Jordan Henderson and 2 goals each from Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohammed Salah were enough to win the game for Jurgen Klopp’s men.

2. Southampton 0 – 1 Manchester City:

Manchester City bounced back to winning ways after two consecutive draws with a narrow win over Southampton at the St. Mary’s Stadium.

Goals from – Raheem Sterling goal was enough to win the game for Pep Guardiola’s men.

3. Everton 2 – 1 Arsenal:

Everton cruised to get another win in the Premier League with a victory over a struggling Arsenal at the Goodison Park.

Goals from Yerry Mina and an Own goal from Rob Holding were enough to win the game for Carlo Ancelloti’s men.

4. Newcastle United 1 – 1 Fulham:

A full time draw at St. James Stadium both team sharing a point from the game.

Goals Scorers – Matt Ritchie, Callum Wilson.

5. Brighton & Hove Albion 1 – 1 Sheffield United

Both teams share the point at the Falmer Stadium.

Goals Scorers – Jayden Bogle, Danny Welbeck

6. Tottenham Hotspur 0 – 2 Leicester City:

A big win for Leicester City as they snatch all the three points against Tottenham at the White Hart Lane.

Goals from Jamie Vardy and an own goal from Toby Alderweireld were enough to win the game for Brendan Rodger’s men.

7. Manchester United 6 – 2 Leeds United:

Manchester United cruised to their 5th Premier League wins in 6 matches with a 6-2 thrashing of Leeds United at the Old Trafford.

Goals from Daniel James, Victor Lindeloff and 2 goals from Scott McTominay and Bruno Fernandez were enough to win the game for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men.

8. West Bromwich Albion 0 – 3 Aston Villa:

Aston Villa took all the three points against West Bromich.

Goals from Bertrand Traore and Anwar El-Ghazi double were enough to give them all the three points.

9. Burnley 2 – 1 Wolverhampton Wanderers:

Burnley takes all the three points at the Turf Moor with goals from Ashley Barnes and Chris Wood making the difference in the game.

10. Chelsea 3 – 0 West Ham United:

Chelsea cruised to a comfortable home win over their London neighbours at Stamford Bridge.

A goal from Thiago Silva and two goals from Tammy Abraham were enough to win the game for Chelsea.

EPL best performer of the week, Who made the list?

The Premier League release the best performing players after each Matchday. This list is judge my several criteria which may include the goals, assist, clean sheet, work rate of any player during that week.

The Premier League body has released the official Best eleven (11) for the week following the completion of Matchday 14.

Below are the players that made the list.

Goalkeeper

Kasper Schmeichel (Leicester City) – kept a clean sheet and helped Leicester City win against Tottenham at White Hart Lane.

Central defenders:

Wesley Fofana (Leicester City): Helped Leceister City defeats Tottenham and capped it off with a clean Sheet.

Yerry Mina (Everton): Was a rock in defence for Everton and scored the winning goal to helped Everton win Arsenal at the Goodison Park.

Thiago Silva (Chelsea): Arguably one of his best performance as a Chelsea player, showed great strength to score Chelsea first goal, protected the defence very well and capped it off with a clean sheet.

Midfielders

Scott Mctominay (Man United): Very solid and scored two goals in the space of two minutes to set new EPL record.

Bruno Fernandez (Man United): was on top of his game, as usual, scoring two goals and providing one assist to help Manchester United win Leeds United.

Anwar El Ghazi (Aston Villa): Was very vital for Aston Villa and scored two vital goals to give his team the win.

Mohammed Salah (Liverpool): Came off from the bench to complete the rout, scoring twice and assisting one to help Liverpool grabbed their biggest away win.

Bertrand Traore (Aston Villa): Played very well and scored a vital goal for his team.

Roberto Firmino (Liverpool): Continued his scoring form with two beautiful goals to help Liverpool thrashed Crysta palace 7-0.

Tammy Abraham (Chelsea): Abraham was a surprise starter for Chelsea and he repaid his manager’s faith in the win with two goals in the space of 2 minutes to help Chelsea win West Ham in a tough London derby.
