The Guardian named their top 100 male footballers of 2020 and the Chelsea contingent was spearheaded by the new signings.

Timo Werner is the highest ranked Chelsea player on the list in 30th place.

Kai Havertz is the only other Blue in the top 50 coming in at the 50th spot.

Thiago Silva in 53rd is followed by N’Golo Kante in 54th.

New signing Hakim Ziyech is the 5th and final Chelsea player on the list in 60th place, one spot behind Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish.

Former Chelsea star Eden Hazard has fallen as low as 86th place in the rankings.

With the form and performance of hazards this season so far make him sit at 86th place.
