TRANSFER UPDATES: Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea Are Interested In Erling Haaland

 

As the winter transfer market gets set to be opened in a couple of days, speculations surrounding the future of players and clubs alike deepens.

* Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are all interested in signing Haaland from Dortmund.

* Arsenal eye loan move for Vinicius Jr in January.

Erling Braut Haaland

Borussia Dortmund’s Norwegian striker Erling Braut Haaland, 20, who has been in terrific form for the German Bundesliga side is attracting lots of interests from several clubs across Europe.

Manchester United, Manchester City and now Chelsea have joined the race for the signature of the 20-year-old goal machine.

The Blues are said to have joined the race for Haaland, although Manchester City consider themselves favourites to sign the Norwegian. (90 min)

Haaland has for sometime now been linked with Manchester United but the deal could be under threat as a result of the weakened relationship the Red Devils have with his agent Mino Raiola.

It is, however, believed that United could opt for Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin, 23, instead. (Mirror)

In order for Chelsea to acquire the funds to buy Haaland and Declan Rice, they would have to sell some fringe players in their squad – players that will likely be sold in order to raise funds include: Ross Barkley, 27; Marcos Alonso, 29; Antonio Rudiger, 27; Andreas Christensen, 24; Jorginho, 29; Danny Drinkwater, 30; and Victor Moses, 30. (Sky Sports via the Sun)

Chelsea’s German defender Antonio Rudiger, 27, has drawn the interest of French Ligue Un defending champions Paris Saint Germain.

The German has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge this season after the Blues’ signing of Thiago Silva.

Eder Militao and Ezequiel Garay

Liverpool are interested in signing two players in order to bolster their current squad.

Arsenal are reportedly Interested in signing Real Madrid’s Brazilian forward Vinicius Jr, 20, on loan when the January transfer window opens.
