Tuchel Confirms Chelsea Injury Blow Ahead of Madrid Tie

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that midfield man Mateo Kovacic is still out as the club prepare to take on Real Madrid in the semi final of the Uefa champions league. It is reported that the Croatian could miss both games against West Ham and Real but could return in time for next weekend’s premier league clash against relegation threatened Fulham.

Speaking in his post match press conference, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel said: team news is there is no news. Mateo Kovacic is still out but everybody else is still available. Me personally I think we can hope for Fulham, but we don’t take it for granted or as medical advice, that’s just my personal decision.
