Germany took on Spain in the UEFA Nations League – League A. Bayern Munich goal keeper,

Manuel Neuer made his 96th appearance for his country making him the most capped German goal keeper in history.

Manuel Neuer expected the game to be a smooth one for his to mark his record but things didn’t turn out to be rosy for him as Spain produced an exceptional performance to whitewash Germany five goals to nil.

Both teams started the game in an entertaining fashion but Spain got majority of the possession. Spain struck first in the 17th minute through Juventus Alvaro Morata. The goal was his first goal since 2019 for his country. Manchester city duo (Torres and Rodri) added salt to the injury by scoring in the 33rd and 38th minutes to make it 3-0 at half time.

We were expecting a come back from Germany in the second half but Spain doubled their work rate and added two more through F. Torres thereby seeing him get his first hattrick for his country.

Real Madrid Sergio Ramos picked an injury in the second half as it adds to madrid’s injury table.

The game ended 6-0 with Oyarzabal adding the 6th goal . It was an awful display from the germans.
