After a slight wobble, the Toffees have picked up from their positive start to the season, putting Chelsea, Leicester and Arsenal to the sword in their last three games, conceding just one goal along the way. One such player desperate for a chance is Donny van de Beek, who has been afforded just 525 minutes of action across Premier League and Champions League play combined. Van de Beek is a brilliantly gifted midfielder, able to split an opposition defence open with a single pass or connect play closer to his own goal, while his propensity to drift unnoticed into the box served him well during his time with Ajax. With the European Championships looming large next year, Van de Beek needs opportunities to shine and the 23-year-old will certainly see this fixture as a chance to make a statement against a strong Everton side.
