Newcastle United vs West Ham United
English Premier League
Date: Saturday 17th April 2021
Kick off at 12:30 UK/ 13:30 CET
Venue: St. James’ Park (Newcastle).
These two teams have two very different contrasts coming into this game. Newcastle are trying to survive in the Premier League and West Ham are trying to qualify for the Champions League.
Newcastle have received a boost in recent weeks for their survival as they have lost just once in their last five games and have pulled six points clear of the bottom three. Last weekend the Magpies beat Burnley 2-1 and their last home game ended 2-2 against Tottenham.
Victory at the weekend could see Steve Bruce’s team jump into 15th position and this is a huge game for the club in their chances for some breathing space.
West Ham have surprised everyone and they still have a great chance to finish in the top four. They are in 4th place with 55 points and they would go 3rd with a win here and pass Leicester who are playing in the FA Cup this weekend.
The Hammers have gone their last 3 games without defeat and that includes winning back to back games. Last weekend West Ham beat Leicester 3-2 in a crucial game, but here is another one for David Moyes side.

Newcastle United vs West Ham United: Prediction
West Ham have been in great form and if they can keep that up then Newcastle will have no answers in this game. The Hammers are scoring goals and looking very dangerous.
At the same time Newcastle will be feeling less cautious and more confident coming into this one but they are not out of danger yet.
This could be a banana skin for West Ham who should win this game but they will have to be clever to do so. Lately the club have almost blown leads two times in a row and they start fast but then struggle in the later stages. But it is hard to go against the form of West Ham at this time.
